I'm not really sure what to call them but I've noticed quite a few of you have those flashing name things in your signature. Where do you get them? I think they look very cute.

I have no idea if mine is one of the ones you're talking about, but I made mine with animation shop in PSP. I think the other ones are made with a different program... I think they are called glitter siggys?

Yes, yours in one of the ones I was talking about. How did you make it? I have animation shop and everything but I'm not sure how to do it.

How did you make it? I have animation shop and everything but I'm not sure how to do it. OK, make your signature in PSP first, the open it up in animation shop. Once you have the image open, right click the image and chose Insert Image Effect. In there, click on the word Noise in the Effetcs section. This give your animation "noise" or some call it "static"... there is also a customize button beneath where you can play around with the intensity, opacity and colors. Good luck! Gg

That doesn't sound as hard as I thought it was going to be. LOL I'll give it a shot.

I had a bit of a problem trying to make the banner and keep the background transparent. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong. Maybe you could help. Everytime I went to save it the thing would convert to a single layer with no transparent background. Anyways, I did it the long way and opened my Paint program and did the transparent background in there. Pain in the butt but it worked. LOL Here's what I came up with: Let me know if there's any easier way to do the transparent thing without using Paint. Thanks. ETA: I have to figure out a better way to do this because Paint makes my pic of Lumi all distorted looking. LOL

it should turn out better if you fiddle with the settings when saving... just tinker and you'll soon figure it out

SS, if you want your first one to not have that pause in the glitter effect, go back into animation shop, open up the animation, and delete the very first frame. It will then look like this. I have yet to make one with a photo, so I cant help ya with that one. It's like Donna said though, just tinker around with the settings. I've learned how to do most of my work by trial and error. lol Here's one I just made in animation shop, which oddly, I think was easier than doing it in Paint first. Why did you think it was harder to do directly in animation shop? Gg

No I actually found it easier in animation shop. I tried to make it in PSP first and then move it over to animation shop but that's where I was having the problems. So then I had to use paint to make everything transparent. I'm sure I'll get better at it once I do it a few times. LOL Thanks for the help!
