Whats a good program to make Banners.. and is their any free programs u can download off the net that are free? I would really like to make a Banner for the contest..

Adobe Photoshop is IMO the very best. Filmpeople use it. It´s just awsome. You can download the latest version of it here. It´s a trial. If you want to keep the program when the trial is out, you need to reset the clock BEFORE the trail period is out. If you want some cool fonts, you can download them at for example www.dafont.com

I have the full versions of both Adobe Photoshop and PaintShopPro. I'm an amateur photographer and prefer Adobe for working with my photographs, but PSP for banner making. They each have their little quirks and they're both good programs; the main difference being that PSP is about 20% of the price of Adobe and there are tonnes of PSP tutorial sites around. A PSP trial version was available from downloads.com the last time I checked (which was quite awhile ago).
