exactly cher..but ive never understood the term of a HOT GUY or Hottie...what exactly makes a person hot...or whatever...im not just going to be a fan of dan wells because good lookin or hes this supposed hot guy or whatever...or im not going to just go to that chat to say i chatted with a HOTTIE or whatever...and if reading dan's post i can tell about about him on his personitly...when i *see*him..i just see a attractive looking young man...but your personilty makes you who your are...its kinda funny though how people are always willing to compliment people on there looks firstbefore theyre personilty

Well I think Dan also possesses a great personality... he's very kind and generous with his time when it comes to his fans... that makes him up there around the top in my book...

Well. It's not funny to me. Because if we don't know a person then we judge by his/her's looks. That's just the way it is. If this person does have a great personality then he or she may be more then 'just a hottie'. Which I think how it is in Dan's case. Yeah, he got the looks. But to me he also seems like a great person. I don't really know him at all. But what I do know about him makes me wanna support his career.
If Dan wouldn't have registered here and shared all these thoughs and answered peoples questions etc we would never have gotten to 'know' him. Perhaps we would still think of him as just another 'hottie' who was once on Days.

I recently had a discussion with a coworker... she said come on you have to love him just because of his looks... I was like no... Sure he looks good and I'd consider him a "hottie" so to speak but I've gotten to know him... he's kind and generous of his time with his fans... he's a great guy... I for one am proud to call him my friend...

Well I think from what I know here that Dan does have a great personality also. We tend to admire their looks first because we really don't know them personally. Not really. All I can go by is their talent and looks first but Dan is different in that we do know his personality and what a nice and fun person he is to be around. I look forward to his posts and think of him as one of us. That is a special thing when they make you feel like that. Unless you have the privilege of meeting them and getting to know them, you really don't know their true personalities but we do know Dan here and it's great. Like with Brad Pitt, I think wow he's a gorgeous guy. I don't know him at all so I couldn't comment on his personality. I've never met him though I'd love to.

I saw Dan at the Derby Days 5K in Arcadia last weekend. Great job out there! I couldn't keep up.

Arwen we agree again, LOL yeah I feel that way too and said that in the above post but I think Dan's case is different also like you say. He does take the time to get to know his fans here and does seem to have a great personality but when it comes to most actors in Hollywood, we do notice their looks first and that's all we see of them. We don't know them personally and don't know Dan in person or I don't but what I see here I like very much and I will support him through his career as well. I almost feel he's a friend of ours now. I think it's right to return the kindness but I was so impressed with him as Stan that I came here then without knowing who he was. I thought he was a cute guy and seemed to have a lot of talent. That's all we really know about them until we meet them online or have a discussion with them in person. It depends on if you know them or not. In todays society, we do go by looks first with famous people that we haven't met. But there's no denying that Dan is a hottie guy. That is a compliment.

A long time ago I sent Dan a fan letter which he resonded to and sent me an autographed photo. He was very nice and his response was personalized to my letter. I think in his eyes and smile he shows a great spirit. He also is genuinely a nice guy from everything I've seen of him on TV and in interviews. Keep up the great work Dan! I am really enjoying Free Ride and hope it makes it to a full season in the fall.
